          The hardest part about writing an informational essay is brainstorming the topic.  It can be hard to find things to write about a specific topic. I personally find it especially difficult to write about things in detail. Although researching evidence and organizing ideas can be difficult, It doesn't compare to brainstorming. However, I can overcome this struggle by focusing on what I can write about. It may take time but it's part of the process.

      Near-death experiences possibly suggest life after death. It's not just by sheer coincidence that people see visions and experience sensations close to death. I believe near-death experiences are glimpses beyond our lives and what we can see. Some people have reported seeing a light which could also be an indicator of an after-life. Others have seen loved ones whcih could mean that after death you are reunited with loved ones. Whatever happens after death im sure near-death experiences mean something.

       The word nirvana has always stood out to me. It’s about finding peace and letting go of stress, which is something I really needed when I was younger. I first heard the word while listening to Nirvana’s album Nevermind , and it became a kind of reminder to seek calm during tough times. These days, I think of nirvana as those moments when everything just feels right whether I’m chilling alone or enjoying time with friends. It’s a simple reminder that peace can be found in everyday moments.

 The word machination refers to an evil or dishonest plan or scheme. I first came across it when reading about villains in books or movies who were always plotting something harmful. Understanding this word helps me improve my writing because I can use it to describe when someone is planning something sneaky or bad, making my writing sound more intense and detailed. Instead of just saying someone has a plan I can use machination to show that their plan is underhanded or evil, which helps make the story more interesting and the character more villainous.

       The worst food I’ve ever had was probably canned tuna. The kind I tried when I was at a friend’s sleepover. We decided to make sandwiches late at night, and one of my friends grabbed a can of tuna from the pantry. I’d never had it before, and the smell alone was enough to make me question my life choices. But, being a good sport, I took a bite and immediately regretted it. The texture was slimy, and the taste was super fishy in a way that didn’t sit well with me at all. We all ended up laughing about it, but I’ve never gone near tuna since.

 My favorite word right now is grateful. It’s a simple word, but it means a lot to me. It’s a reminder to appreciate the little things in life. I find myself using it more often, especially when I’m reflecting on what I’m thankful for. Today in class we worked on vocab lesson 11. I learned new words that I can use in the future to improve my writing.
